G-400 Advanced Incident Command System Command & General Staff: Complex Incidents.
Description: This course provides training for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). The course expands upon information covered in ICS-100 through ICS-300 courses. The target audience for this course is personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in an Area command or Multiagency Coordination Entity. Selection Criteria: Persons expected to perform in a management capacity in an area command/complex incident environment. Personnel must have completed the following ICS courses or an equivalent to these courses: ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, ICS-700, and ICS-800. PreRequisite-100.b or IS-100.FDA or IS-100.Fwa or IS-100.HCb or IS-100.HE or IS-100.Leb or IS-100.PWb or IS-100.Sca Target Audience: This course may be required by local jurisdictions, law enforcement agencies, fire rescue departments, etc to be taken to conform with DHS/NIMS/State guidelines or other requirements set forth by credentialing organizations Additional Information: Course Hours: 08:30 to 16:30 each day. The 13th Annual Northwest Florida Volunteer Firefighter Weekend has been scheduled for September 12-16, 2018. Online Registration for all classes begin on June 1, 2018. Online Registration will close on Thursday, September 13th at 6 pm CST. Walk-in Registrations are welcomed during the Event but classes maybe limited.
http://nwflvolunteerffweekend.com North Okaloosa CERT will be offering the Basic Course June 11-14, 2018 at Crestview Fire Station #1. The Basic Course is the foundation of CERT training and covers topics such as first aid, disaster psychology, fire prevention and fire safety, disaster preparedness, disaster medical operations, light search and rescue, and terrorism response. All participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate and a CERT backpack of emergency supplies. The course is free and open to all adults, though a background check will be conducted to comply with county regulations.
